Joey,
We have a grant to abandon Well 1 this month and cap the aquifer. In demolishing the building, we have this
old well motor to get rid of, so I'm hoping you can get approval from the council for this item. Please see the
attached photos.
I reached out to Dykes, and they didn't see much value in it. It is quite old.
I also reached out to Western Industrial, and they were somewhat interested to display it in their museum. Kirk
John advised me it's an old piece of history and they have a little museum display on location at the shop
displaying motors from Pocatello and the surrounding area going back to the 20's and 30's. This might be a
good resting place for this piece, or we can haul it off for scrap if that's what is recommended.
