turned off as of November 1, 1916 and suit for collection will be
started after 60 days.if tills are not paid in full by then. The 9
accouhts-are as follows-Melvin Barkdull, Willis L. Fry, Mrs. Nora
Phelps, W. V. ~abin, Glen fyne, R. W. Fold, Tastee Freeze, Harvey
Adams, and E. O. Nygren.
~remman Remtql House- He still refuses to pay Jan.,Feb., Mar, of 19~6.
Ward & Fenwick feel that is due to negligence on part of ~oard and
suggested to cancal charges for those three mo~ths as he was paying
a connection char~'e for the hardware store then. Vote of Poard to
cancel charges -Ward-yes, Frasure-yes, Fenwick-yes, Va!enty-yes.
Brennan Is to k.e billed fcr deposits for Rental House & Sho-Bar.
Water Tank Work- Housing is not finished ~fet and Hensley is to see
Nichols and' see if he will complete the job.
Oil Stove- has teen paid for and the money deposited.
Water applications- :~hittier is to send out a copy, Village will have
them printed and Clerk will mail them.
Water Amendment- A copy will ~e give~ to ~ach ~oard Memk'er to study
for a month ~-e.6ore actfcn is taken on it.
New Business- Justice of the Peace for Chubb~;ck .District. ~Zittier
explained that tc get a J.P. For Cbubb~.ck, the Chairman of the
Poard Is to write to the Ccunty Com~iss~oners and ask them to
appoint and allow for it in their budget. A J~stice of the feace
District is established by the County Commissioners and the J.f.
would be appointed b~ them and subsequent J.P's subject to electi.::n
