RESOLUTION ~ 1-92
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO MAKE APPLICATION TO THE IDAHO WATER POLLUTION ACCOUNT FUND
FOR VARIOUS REMEDIATION PROJECTS ON THE EXISTING CITY SEWER
COLLECTION SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the existing city sewage collection system is based
largely on a sewer system project completed in approximately 1974;
WHEREAS, the City of Chubbuck has recently completed a
facility planning study on the sewage collection system which
identifies several areas of the system needing remediation;
WHEREAS, the city sewer collection system does not have
adequate surplus monies to accomplish the remediation work
identified in the facility planning study;
WHEREAS, loan monies are available through the Idaho Water
Pollution Control Account fund;
AND NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Chubbuck that Mayor John O. Cotant is authorized to make
application to the Idaho Water Pollution Control Account fund for
necessary monies to fund the remediation projects identified in the
facility planning study.
