2.04.410: MAYOR AND COUNCIL SALARIES:
Commencing January 1, 2024, the salaries of the Mayor and of the members of the Chubbuck City Council $hall be as follows:
A. The Mayor of the City of Chubbuck shall receive an annual salary in the sum of sixty-seven thousand one hundred seventy-eight dollars ($$67, 778.04).
B_ Each member of the Council shall receive an annual salary in the sum of eight thousand seven hundred eighty-nine dollars (S5. 780. 00).
C At the Secund Council meeting in January of each year m which there shall be a general[ election to elsd City uV uals, the Mayfly and Council shall review Salaries and whether ur not changes in the Mayur and
Council salaries should be made on January 1 following the next general election. Notwithstanding any other adjustments adopted by the Mayof and Council, salary adjustments for such elective officers maybe made at
this review in accordance and in proportion with changes in the Consumer Price Index for all U_5_ urban consumers as published by the United Slates Department of Labor and any other bench marks or available data
since the last such salary adjustments were made by the Council. Such adjustments must be specifically adopted by ordinance passed and published in accordance with Idaho law and specifically Idaho Code section
56.263 prior to the effective date of such adjustments.

In orderto attract and retain qualified personnel at all levels of the organization, it is the policy
of the City of Chubbuck to maintain fair salary ranges con siistent with the economic constraints
of the City and the labor market in which we compete. Any compensation and salary system
used is subject to approval by the City Council.
