A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING A GENERAL CITY ELECTION, TO BE HELD ON
NOVEMBER 4, ].997, DESIGNATING THE POLLING PLACE, DESIGNATING THE
DEPUTY REGISTRARS, AND ORDERING THE CITY CLERK TO GIVE NOTICE OF
SUCH ELECTION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK, IDAHO:
SECTION 1. The General City Election will be held in and for
the City of Chubbuck, on the 4th. day of November, 1997, at which
time there will be elected Mayor and two Council members to serve
for a term of four years, or until the election and qualification
of their successors.
SECTION 2. The following is designated as the polling place
for such election: City Municipal Building, 5160 Yellowstone Ave.,
Chubbuck, Idaho.
SECTION 3. That Ron C. Conlin, Myrna L. Crapo and Colleen Wood
are hereby designated as Deputy Registrars.
SECTION 4. The Clerk, for and on behalf of the Mayor and
Co~mcil, shall~ve~' public notice of the time and place of holding
such c~ty election by posting such notice in. three public places or
publishing such notice ~n at least two issues of the Idaho State
Journa], a newspaper printed and published in the City of
Pocate]lo, Idaho, 'the first publication of such notice to be made
not ]ess than 45 days previous to the date of such city election
and the last publication not less than 15 days; the notice so
published shall state the place of registration and the name of the
Deputy Registrars, and the requirements for registration of
electors at, such city and such other information as may be
necessary to give full facts of suc:h election and registration,
sa~d notice to contaih such facts and be given in accordance with
the requirements of Section 50-436 of the Idaho Code.
