RESOLUTION NO. 1-98
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF CHUBBUCK
EMPLOYEE ERIC KING.
WHEREAS, Eric King was appointed Acting Fire Chief for the City of Chubbuck as of
January 15, 1998.
WHEREAS, Eric King vacated the position of Maintenance Foreman in the Public Works
Department, to accept the appointment of Acting Fire Chief.
WHEREAS, The position of Acting Fire Chief is a temporary appointment until such time
as a Fire Chief is appointed by the Mayor and Council.
BE THEREFORE IT RESOLVED THAT
The Mayor is authorized to enter into an agreement with Eric King that would guarantee
his reappointment to his former position as Maintenance Foreman in the Public Works
Department, if at such time as his appointment as Acting Fire Chief is terminated and/or if
Eric King is not subsequently appointed Fire Chief; and/or if Eric King expresses he does
not want to be Fire Chief.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK, THIS 27TM DAY OF JANUARY, 1998.
