HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-004 Urban Renewal Area Boundaries RESOLUTION NO. 4-2000 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4-92, RESOLUTION 7-92, RESOLUTION NO. 11-92 AND RESOLUTION NO. 4-95 AND RESOLUTION NO. 4-96 TO DEFINE THE GEOGRAPHIC BOUNDARIES OF THE URBAN RENEWAL AREA AND AMEND THE PLAN TO INCLUDE ADDITIONAL PROJECTS. Whereas, Resolution No. 4-92 declared the need for and created an Urban Renewal Area; and Whereas, Resolution No. 7-92 established the property lying within the Urban Renewal Area; and Whereas, Resolution No. 11-92 deleted the northern portion of the urban renewal area as established by Resolution No. 7-92; and Whereas, Resolution No. 4-95 and Resolution No. 4-96 added the city parks to the Urban Renewal Area; and Whereas, the Public Hearing conducted by the City of Chubbuck on, March 28, 2000 demonstrated the need to add to the Urban Renewal Area new City parks and add construction projects to the original plan; NOW TItEREFORE, be it resolved by the Mayor and the City of Chubbuck: The property lying within and including the area legally described on the attached Exhibit "A" be added to the existing Urban Renewal Area and Revenue Allocation District created by Resolution No. 4-92 and amended by Resolution No. 4-95 & No. 4-96 and the project construction elements identified on the attached Exhibit "B" be added to the Urban Renewal Plan adopted in 1992. Passed and approved by the Mayor and Council of the City of Chubbuck this 28 day of March, 2000.
