CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, will conduct a
Public Hearing at 6:00 pm on November 6, 2024 at Chubbuck City Council Chambers, 290 East Linden
Ave., Chubbuck, Idaho. Public hearings will be held with respect to the following items:
To take public comment on a proposed declaration of intent to exchange equal value land between
the City of Chubbuck and Gary Brandon Ratliff in accordance with Title 50, Chapter 14 of Idaho
Code. In summary: on October 16, 2024, and pursuant to Idaho Code § 50-1402, the Chubbuck
City declared intent to exchange 2.05 acres of its property located on New Day Parkway adjacent
to the Union Pacific Railroad (appraised valuation of $445,000) for 2.05 acres of property adjacent
to the northern boundary of Capell Park (appraised value of $445,000), finding the exchange to be
in the public's interest and declared the value of the property it intends to receive to be $445,000.
Written testimony must be received by jbowers@cityofchubbuck.us at least 7 days prior to the hearing,
shall comply with standards established in City resolution 2021-06. A complete description of each item
is available to the public on request to jbowers@cityofchubbuck.us. Council packets are generally
available the week before the meeting at https:Hcityofchubbuck.us/city-council/ or are available by
contacting the City Clerk. Any and all persons may register comments, protests, or agreements on the
hearing subjects being considered. Oral testimony concerning these proposals may be offered at the public
hearing. Council may limit oral testimony.
