Chubbuck, Held March 9,I954 in the Village office.Meeting
called to order 8;I0 P.M.
Members present were Valenty,Ward, Gianninni,Frasure,& Fenwick.
Minutes of the previous meeting was read and approved with
the correction made of members pre sent.Approval motion made
by War d sec.by Gianninni.
Bills were read for the past month approval motion made by
Frasure sec. By Ward. Motion carried.
Police Report was read, There was some discussion on getting
some~work out of the prisoners to help ofset their board bill.
The reason that Ordinance #23 wasnt re~orded it was never
completed.
A report from the Bannock County Clerks Office giving the
total taxable property in the Village of Chubbuck as$I~3,818
Motion made by Ward sec by Gianninni that the Village of
Chubbuck pay the Tuition for Village clerk S.A.Mingo so he
may attend the Clerks School to be held March I5 &I6 at the
University in Pocatello.Motion carried.
Mr Valenty inquired into the fire signals operated by the
Telephone co.The best one for the Village needs was decided
the push button horn that could be heard five or six blocks
which would cost about ~i~2.50 per month plus installation.
Motion made Fenwtck sec.b? Gianninni that it be installed
Motion carried,Also approwed was the listing of two numbers
in the phone book to make it ~asier to get some one in case
of fire as one number would be for daytime and one for night.

Making it unlawful for any person to in any way interfere
with, Molest,Threaten or Resist a Village Marshal or other
official employed by the Village Of Chubbuck while in the
discharge of his official duties.
Ord. # 25 Was read in its entirety. Motion mad~ by Art F~nwick
sec by W.Ward that rules be suspended and have the Ordinance
read twice more by title. The following roll call vote was
taken on the motion; Valenty yes,Ward yes.Frasure yes,Gianninni
yes,Fenwick yes.
The title was then read twice more by Chairman Valenty.
The following roll call vote was taken on Ordinance # 25
Valenty yes,Ward yes, Frasure yes,Gianninni yes,Fenwick yes.
Ordinance carried.

Ordinance # 26 was read in its entirety. Motion made by

Making it unlawful for any person to carry concealed weapons
upon his person.
Ordinance # 27 was read in its entirety, m~tion made by Ward
sec,by Frasure that rules ~e suspender and have the Ordinance
read twice by title. The ~ollowing roll call vote was taken

Ordinance on the defacing and destruction of property ~o be
drawn up.
The matter of Two weeks vacation with pay for Carl Hensley
was discussed and as he had accumalated time coming a motion
was made by Ward sec by Frasure that he take his vacation in
three shifts.May 3I to June 4.June ? to June II,June I~ to I8th
dates inclusive.Motion carried
