COMMUNITY RESILIENCE ESTIMATES (CRE)
The CREgroups population estimates into three categories: zero,
one or two, and three or more components of social vulnerability (SV)
The CRE also has an Equity Componenent with data from the
decennial Census, American Community Survey, and the
Census Planning Database for race and ethnicity in nearly
every measure, and by Census Tract.
The Census has released an experimental product as part of the
Equity Component specifically in the context of vulnerability to
Ertrement Heat exposure. It is also organized to group the
population into three categories as above.

CHUBBUCK
' ° R " ° COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
WHAT IS A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN?
The Comprehensive Plan is a 20 -year vision for Chubbuck and its residents. The Plan will reflect the voice of
residents and the business community and be the guiding document for shaping the City's future. This vision will be
put into action by setting goals and identifying policies and strategies on how to attain those goals. Creating a
comprehensive plan takes time; we hope to adopt the plan by the end of 2024. The planning process will include a
wide variety of community outreach methods and collaboration between City leaders and community members.
Idaho cities must prepare and maintain a current comprehensive plan in accordance with Idaho Code Section
67-6508. The plan must consider "previous and existing conditions, trends, desirable goals and objectives, or
desirable future situations."

The geographic extent of the comprehensive plan
includes all properties within city limits and inside the
Area of City Impact as shown on this map.
WILL THIS IMPACT HOW YOUR PROPERTY IS ZONED?
Idaho Code requires that zoning districts, as well as
zone changes, special permits, and zoning ordinances,
be in accordance with the adopted comprehensive plan.
While changes to the zoning map and ordinances will
not occur during the comprehensive planning process,
they might occur after the new plan is adopted to
ensure that the plan is properly implemented.
