ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF
IDAHO, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 860, THE APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR
THE FISCAL PERIOD OCTOBER 1, 2023 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30,2024; PROVIDING
FOR AN INCREASE IN EXPENDITURES IN THE GENERAL FUND; WHICH INCREASES
THE TOTAL FISCAL YEAR EXPENDITURES BY $463,025; PROVIDING THAT THE
REVENUE TO PAY FOR SAID INCREASES SHALL BE DERIVED FROM ADDITIONAL
MONIES RECEIVED AS EXCESS FROM CLOSED CHUBBUCK URBAN RENEWAL;
PROVIDING THAT ALL OTHER PORTIONS OF APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 860
SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE
SHALL BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE,
APPROVAL, AND PUBLICATION ACCORDING TO LAW.
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2024 Appropriations Ordinance was passed and approved:
and
WHEREAS, the Council has authorized the use of monies received as excess from closed
Chubbuck urban renewal for additional expenditures in the General Fund; and
WHEREAS an amendment to the FY 2024 appropriation ordinance is required to reflect
these changes; and
WHEREAS, notice and hearing have been provided in accordance with Idaho Code §50-
1002, §50-1003, and §50-1006;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the amount appropriated for the General Fund as set out in Section 3 of
Ordinance #860 be hereby amended to reflect the allocation from monies from excess from
closed Chubbuck urban renewal as follows:
That the following sums of money are hereby appropriated from the General Fund
expenses of the City of Chubbuck during aforesaid fiscal year:

Section 2. That all other provisions of the Fiscal 2024 Appropriation Ordinance No. 860, not
herein amended, shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3. That the rule requiring ordinances to be read on three separate days is hereby
dispensed with, and this ordinance shall become effective upon its approval and publications
provided by law.
