Introduction
The foundation of any great branding and messaging strategy is research conducted by
objective observers. We have assembled a three -company partnership to provide
Bannock Development Corporation with a strong understanding of its target audiences
and the messaging required for each. Our goals are to:
• Define Bannock Development's target audiences so you can focus your resources
• Identify sites and buildings with the greatest potential for retail growth
• Create a strong visual brand for Bannock Development to build upon
• Provide a message strategy for each of your target audiences so you have all the
tools you need when speaking with site selection professionals
In the first phase, Applied Marketing will conduct a Target Industry Analysis. With
significant insight into various industries, the Applied Marketing team will help ensure the
message strategy covers all information to best appeal to your target audiences. Having
them as a consultant will also help get buy in from stakeholders. When a consultant
provides recommendations regarding appropriate target industries, it improves the odds
of stakeholders seeing the vision.
In the second phase, The Retail Coach will conduct a Retail Market Analysis. Attracting
shopping, dining, and hotels is a major part of growing your tourism industry. The Retail
Coach's team are experts in developing retail properties and promoting assets to the
world's largest retailers and hotel chains. While Brand Acceleration has extensive
experience marketing to more traditional" industry (e.g. manufacturing, food and
beverage production, etc.), retail is a niche in which The Retail Coach is more qualified.
The Retail Coach team will be able to assist in crafting a message strategy, logo, and
slogan that will aid your retail -attraction efforts.
In the final phase, Brand Acceleration will develop Branding and Messaging. Using input
from Applied Marketing, The Retail Coach, the Bannock Development team, and
participants in various focus groups and one-on-one interviews, we will distill a
considerable amount of information down into a concise Brand Guide. This will provide
keywords and phrases, visual elements, and messaging for your specific target audiences.
Since Bannock Development Corporation will be contracting with each partner company
individually, this document contains three individual proposals. At the end of the
document, you'll find three contract pages. These are the pages you will sign and return
to Colleen (colleen(@ brandaccel.com) to initiate the project.

Key Retail Sites
A community is able to quantify its retail
demand through a Retail Demand Analysis,
which provides a summary of the primary
projected retail demand growth — or
opportunities — for 68 retail sectors.
The analysis is ultimately used to identify
recruitment targets for the community.
We will determine the level of retail demand
for the designated Retail Trade Area and use
projected demand to help identify opportunity
areas and prioritize market segments for
recruitment.
Retailers are interested not only in the market
data on your community, but also in evaluating
all available property vacancies and sites that
fit their location preferences. A community
must create and maintain a database of prime
available properties along with accurate and
current marketing information. Successful
retail recruitment begins to happen with the
introduction of available sites.
We will work with County Staff to identify
