Subject: Old Cell Phones - Selling to eRecycle
Joey,
We are in the process of changing our cell phone plan with Verizon from a federal plan to a state plan. While
doing so, we learned that several of our phones are eligible for replacement and the replacement cost is very
minimal. Verizon said that they won't buy our old phones and recommended that we sell them to eRecycle. We are
going to use the money we make from eRecycle to pay for the replacement of our new phones. Pending City Council
approval, we are planning on selling the following phones to eRecycle and using the funds to purchase new phones from
Verizon:
0 8 - iPhones ($2.00 - $3.00 per phone)
+ 14 - flip phones ($1.00 per phone)
• 12 - iPads ($5.00 per phone)
1 - iPhone for destruction ($0.00)
o Total Value= $90.00 - $98.00
Will you please put this on the agency for August 16'h?
Appreciate it,
Chief Nick Sasser
