CALL TO ORDER: Mayor England.
PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG: Councilmember Hernandez
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Dan Heiner, Norman Reece and Roger Hernandez.
STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Kevin England, City Attorney Ryan Lewis, Public Works
Director Bridger Morrison, Police Chief Nick Sasser, Fire Chief Merlin Miller, City Treasurer
Rich Morgan, and City Clerk Joey Bowers.
Mayor England excused Councilmember Melanie Evans from the meeting.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: July S, 2023.
Councilmember Reece motioned for approvalf Study

GENERAL BUSINESS:

(Council will discuss the annexation of 22.67 acres into the City limits).
This item of business was removed from the agenda.
2. Confirm the Mayor's Appointment of B Bridger

Public Works Director.
(The council will discuss an appointment
Mayor England presented Bridger Morrison as Public Works Director.
Councilmember Heiner motioned to appointment Bridger Morrison as Public Works Director.
Councilmember Hernandez seconded motion for appointment.
Roll Call: Reece -yes, Hernandez -yes, Heiner -yes, motion passed.
3. Resolution 2023-07 Approval of Records for Destruction.
(Council will discuss the destruction of City records).
Councilmember Heiner motioned for adoption of Resolution 2023-07 as presented.
Councilmember Hernandez seconded motion for adoption.
Roll Call: Hernandez -yes, Heiner -yes, Reece -yes, motion passed.
4. Approval of Renewal of Annual Appropriation Certificates of Participation Series 2019.
(Council will discuss the renewal of the annual appropriation lease certificates of participation series
2019).
City Treasurer Rich Morgan presented a renewal of the annual certificates of
participation series 2019.
Councilmember Hernandez motioned for the renewal of the annual appropriation certificates of
participation series 2019.
Councilmember Heiner seconded motion for renewal.
Roll Call: Heiner -yes, Reece -yes, Hernandez -yes, motion passed.
CLAIMS:
City of Chubbuck claims for July 19, 2023 as presented to Mayor England and
Council.
Councilmember Hernandez motioned to approve the City of Chubbuck Claims as presented.
Councilmember Reece seconded motion for approval.
Roll Call: Reece -yes, Hernandez -yes, Heiner -yes, motion passed.
