LEGAL NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The City of Chubbuck is seeking proposals from qualified pro-
fessional firms to lead the process in updating its Comprehen-
sive Plan, Our Valley, Our Vision in 2023. Consultants should
be familiar with Idaho laws regarding city planning, planning in
eastern/southern Idaho, and planning for Social Determinants
of Health. The City seeks a plan that inspires and captures
the vision of the community, provides innovative and promising
solutions, and clearly outlines goals, policies, and implementa-
tion tools and strategies.
Part of this endeavor is funded by a Comprehensive Plan
Grant from the Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health. The
resulting plan shall take into consideration, and where applica-
ble, identify policies where the Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation
for Health's "Building a Healthy Idaho" can be highlighted and
applied over the plan's lifetime. Key to the success of the plan
for a healthy community, and the plan as a whole, will rely on
public participation that is authentic, adaptive, and meets resi-
dents where they are.
The updated Plan shall include all elements required by the
Idaho Local Land Use Planning Act. Consultants shall review
goals, objectives, policies, and plan elements, as well as oth-
er adopted plans and studies, to augment development of the
plan. Implementation of the plan will be supported through
clear concise vision, goals, land use direction, and actionable
implementation items that will aid in successful implementation
of the plan over its lifetime.
