Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Chuhbuck,
held in the Mumicipal Buildin~ of the Village of Chubbuck on August 9, 1966
Present- Ward, Underwood, Hillman, Henry and McDevitt.
Absent- Buchanan, out of town.
Called to order ~:O5 P.N.
Minutes of the last regular meeting then read and approved as read plus correction.
Bills for month presented to Board. Motion to approve payment of bills made by
Hillman, seconded by Henry. Ail in favor. Clerk is to check with Idaho Power Co. to
see why power bill for Quonset is so high.
Financial report for month presented to Board.
Mobile Homes Park- Plans and application for licer~e for such a Park presented to Board
by Miles C Doty. Doty explained the plan in detail. Petition of protest to the Park
was read to the Board. R C Brower explained that they had no objection to the Park at
the Back of Doty's property, but the did not want it directly in front of their homes.
Doty challanged their right to protest on the grounds they are not residents of the
Village. A long discussion followed. Doty requested an answer in 2 or 5 days.
Protest residents asked that Buchanan be prezent when t~e vote is taken.
Traffic signs- Lynn Swanson th~nks the 25 MPH sign allows too much speed on Boyd St.
Board advised they woula try the 25 ~'~H sign for awhile and if this does not take
care of speeders they will lower the speed limit.
Street Name Signs- Bill Lewis of 255 Joy asked about street name signs and Underwood
adv~.sed him they are already ordered and will be installed when they arrive.
Street repairs- He~sley asked about the intersection of W. Chubbuck Road and Hawthorne
Road. Board all agreed it should be fixed and advised Hensley to get it done.
Leetmn~ recessed at 9:50 P.M till Friday August 12, 1966 at 8:00 P.M: and give
Buchanan a chance to be there.
