Prese~t-Ward, Henry, Hil]man az~d McDevitt. Abser...t- Underwood-ill~ and Buchanan-out of town. Callet~ to Order 8:02 P.M. Minutes of the last regular and one recessed meeting then read and approved as read. Building Code- Venna McCalt'mm asked permission tc move a small 2-room house from Preston, to her property at 22? E. Chubbuck Road. After a long discussion on health and fire hazzards at the existing property, the Board decided that the present house would have to be inspected to see if it meets all requirements for safety, health and fire, before another house is moved on to the p~operty. They advised Mrs. McCallum to make application by letter for inspection of the existin~ property, and mail the letter to the Village Clerk. A1 Johnson advised the Board that the Portneuf Co-Op has to move and they are look~n~ at locations at either Chubbuck or Tyhee. He asked if the Board would have objections to their moving to the Brennar~ Corner in Chubbuck. A±~ter discussion, the Board all agreed and approved of the move to Chubbuck, if that is the location the Co-Op decided on. Bills for the month then presented to Board. k~otion to approve pa}~,ent of bills made by Hillman, seconded by Henry. Al.1 in favor. Financial report for month presented to Board. t~/aterworks- Ward revorted that Phi! Lorcher is irrigating several acres of ground with Village water. Lorcher is willing to pay for the water if the Village will set the charge. After discussion the Board decided to wait and see how the new water Ordinance will handle such a situation. Police Phone- Lessert requested that the Village phone be rem{~ved from his home. Decision. of Board was to leave the phone there for the time being. State Retirement System for Village Employees- McDevitt is to look into this matter, and get more ~nformation on it form Tommy Terrell. Police Radio in Henstey's Personal Car- Hensley reported that he can have a Police Radio installed in his car for approximately $.550.00. His car is used for Police work whenever the regular car in in for repairs or any other emergency. Motion to have radio installed made by Hillman, seconded by Henry. All in favor. The radio will belong to the Village. An individual cannot own a Police Radio. Fire Truck- ~Iard reported that strikes in the East have caused delay in delivery.
