AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF
IDAHO, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 834, THE APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR
THE FISCAL PERIOD OCTOBER 1, 2021 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30,2022; PROVIDING
FOR AN INCREASE IN EXPENDITURES IN THE WATER FUND, WASTEWATER
FUND, AND SANITATION FUND; WHICH INCREASES THE TOTAL FISCAL YEAR
EXPENDITURES BY $2,059,900; PROVIDING THAT THE REVENUE TO PAY FOR SAID
INCREASES SHALL BE DERIVED FROM INCREASED USER RATES AND CASH
RESERVES; PROVIDING THAT ALL OTHER PORTIONS OF APPROPRIATION
ORDINANCE NO. 834 SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT; PROVIDING
THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND
AFTER ITS PASSAGE, APPROVAL, AND PUBLICATION ACCORDING TO LAW.
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2022 Appropriations Ordinance was passed and approved;
and
WHEREAS, the Council has authorized the use of existing cash balances and anticipated
increases in user fees to for additional expenditures in the Water Fund, Wastewater Fund, and
Sanitation fund; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to the FY 2022 appropriation ordinance is required to reflect
these changes; and
WHEREAS, notice and hearing have been provided in accordance with Idaho Code §50-
1002, §50-1003, and §50-1006;
NO THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the amount appropriated for the Water Fund, Waste Water Fund, and Sanitation
Fund as set out in Section 3 of Ordinance #834 be hereby amended to reflect the allocation of
increases in user rates and from cash reserves as follows:
That the following sums of money are hereby appropriated from the Water Fund, Waste
Water Fund, and Sanitation Fund for the payment of Water, Wastewater and Sanitation
expenses of the City of Chubbuck during aforesaid fiscal year:
Water Fund
Waste Water Fund
Sanitation Fund

Section 2. That all other provisions of the Fiscal 2022 Appropriation Ordinace No. 834 not
herein amended shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3. That the rule requiring ordinances to be read on three separate days is hereby
dispensed with, and this ordinance shall become effective upon its approval and publications
provided by law.
