Re: Philbin / Chubbuck Road Round-about – Bid Award
The city has received three bids for the completion of the Philbin / Chubbuck Road Roundabout project.
The three bids received were:
Engineers Estimate 1,804,933.00 100%
Contractor Bid Amount
Mickelsen Construction Inc. $ 1,880,921.20 104.21%
Idaho Materials and Construction $ 1,930,158.00 106.94%
Depatco $ 2,081,172.20 115.30%
All bids appear to be responsive and meet the requirements of the bid documents.
We will confirm the funding approval from CDA on March 15th. It is my recommendation that the City
Council approve the Mayor to execute a contract with Mickelson Construction in the amount of
$1,880,921.20.
