Request: Review the attached letter from developer Dave Bickley and accompanying information, and determine whether to grant the appeal for another extension of time for Selder Meadows PUD. Attachments: A. Appeal Letter from Dave Bickley B. Minutes from City Council Meeting on January 22, 2021 C. Copy of two PUD master plan illustrations Selder Meadows PUD Extension - Attachment A December 15, 2021 Don, Per our conversation on 12/14/21, 1 am writing this email to request the Mayor and City Council of Chubbuck grant an extension to the PUD schedule for Dave Bickley of Bickley Construction. We are asking to be placed on the next available city council meeting allowing Bickley Construction to submit an extension to the PUD schedule. Per City Code 18.20.110.1-1 "The approval of a final development plan for a PUD shall be effective for a period not to exceed two (2) years. If no construction has begun within two (2) years after approval has been issued, it shall expire. An extension of the time limit may be approved, without further hearing or recommendation by the commission, if the council finds that such extension is not in conflict with the public interest". The project is set to expire in February 2022 according to the provided council packets. I am working with the City of Chubbuck Fire Department to schedule a practice burn of the home on the property that is to be demolished before construction can begin. It is not feasibly possible to begin construction before the PUD expires, therefore an extension is needed. Project scheduling has not moved as quickly as intended, but with the requested extension the construction project will be planned and scheduled to start in early spring, getting back on track with the project. Please consider the proposed extension for Bickley Construction. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions about the proposed construction plan or PUD extension request. You can reach me at my cell 208-251-4909. Thank you for your consideration, Dave Bickley, Owner Bickley Construction, LLC 5015 Brook Lane #B Chubbuck, ID 83202 Selder Meadows PUD Extension - Attachment B CITY OF CHUBBUCK COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES JANUARY 20, 2021— 6:00pm LOCATED AT CHUBBUCK CITY HALL 5160 YELLOWSTONE AVE.
