er related work as set forth in
the Contract documents for
SACAJAWEA WATER LINE
EXTENSION PROJECT will
be received by City of Chub -
buck at 5160 Yellowstone
Ave, Chubbuck, Idaho 83202,
until 11:00 AM local time on
Thursday, January 14, 2021
and then at said office publicly
opened and read aloud.
The work involves installa-
tion of approximately 5,240 LF
of 18" water main in the City of
Chubbuck. The work includes
installation of water main, fire
hydrants, surface restoration,
and other related items. It is
the intent of the project bid-
ding documents to describe
the work required to complete
this project in sufficient detail
to secure comparable bids. All
parts or work not specifically
mentioned which are nec-
essary in order to provide a
complete installation shall be
included in the bid and shall
conform to all Local, State and
Federal requirements.
The PROJECT MANUAL,
DRAWINGS, ADDENDUMS
and EXHIBITS may be ex-
amined at the following loca-
tion(s):

The PROJECT MANUAL,
DRAWINGS and EXHIBITS
may be obtained at City of

as an electronic copy on a
compact disc (CD) for no fee.
In determining the lowest
responsive bid, the Owner will
consider all acceptable bids
on a basis consistent with
the bid package. The Own-
er will also consider whether
the bidder is a responsible

plated herein, the Owner will
conduct such investigation as
is necessary to determine the
performance record and abili-
ty of the apparent low bidder
to perform the size and type
of work specified under this
Contract. Upon request, the
Bidder shall submit such infor-
mation as deemed necessary
by the Owner to evaluate the
Bidder's qualifications.
All bids must be signed and
accompanied by evidence of
authority to sign.
Bids must be accompanied
by Bid Security in the form of
a bid bond, certified check,
cashier's check or cash in the
amount of five percent (5%) of
the amount of the bid propos-
al. Said bid security shall be
forfeited to the City of Chub -
buck as liquidated damages
should the successful bidder
fail to enter into contract in ac-
cordance with their proposal
as specified in the Instructions
to Bidders.
Any contract awarded un-
der this Invitation to Bid is
funded in part by the Idaho
Department of Environmen-
tal Quality (IDEQ). Neither
the United States nor any of
its departments, agencies, or
employees is or will be par-
ty to this €nvitation to Bid or
any resulting contract. Before
a contract will be awarded,
compliance with all DEQ/EPA
requirements specified in the
Contract Documents will be
subject to the funding agen-
cy's review and approval.
Bidder will be required to
meet Davis -Bacon wage re-
quirements and American Iron
and Steel (AIS) requirements.
The City of Chubbuck re-
serves the right to reject any
or all proposals, waive any
nonmaterial irregularities in
the bids received, and to ac-
cept the proposal deemed
most advantageous to the
best interest of City of Chub -
buck.
