HomeMy WebLinkAbout09 27 2020 Land Use RescheduleNOTICE OF RESCHEDULING OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Land Use & Develop- ment Commission of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, has re- scheduled the public hearing for September 8, 2020, The meeting will now be held on October 13, 2020 at 7:OOpm. Due to COVID-19 and CDC best practices for social dis- tancing, the public meeting will occur via web -conference and telephone. Details on how to attend the meeting and par- ticipate are found below. Pub- lic hearings will be held with respect to the following item: 1. An application for a Con- ditional Use Permit for a de- tached garage and a single family residence in a Limited Commercial (C-1) zone on approximately .55 acres of land. Subject property is Lot 2 Block 1 of Strait Estates sub- division, generally known as 841 Todd St, Chubbuck, Ida- ho. Type of Action: Land Use decision. 2. An application for a Change in Land Use District from Limited Residential (R-2) to Limited Commercial (C-1) on approximately 1.26 acres of land. Subject property is in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 3, Township 6 South, Range 34 East of the Boise Meridi- an, Idaho, generally located at 426 East Chubbuck Rd, Chubbuck, Idaho. The Com- prehensive Plan Future Land Use map designates this area as Mixed Use. Type of Action: Recommendation. 3. An application for a Con- ditional Use Permit for an events center in a Limited Commercial (C -f) zone on approximately 1.26 acres of land. Written testimony must be received by the Planning De- partment at least 7 days prior to the hearing, shall comply with standards established in City Code 18.28.020.D.7, and shall be considered public re- cord. Complete staff reports will be available at the City Office on October 7, 2020 and will include written testimony received prior to the dead- line. Oral testimony concern- ing these proposals may be offered at the public hearing. Commission may limit oral testimony.
