December 26, 1972.
Present: Mayor Cotant, Councilmen Kinghorn, Menard'and Taylor, Clerk Vera Armstrong.
Meeting called to order by Mayor-Cotant at 5:25 p.m.
Purpose of this special meeting is to take action on Annexation and Detachment Ord.#117
and also take action on approval of beer and liquor license for Redwood Gardens, Inc.
BEER AND LIQUOR LICENSE FOR RE~OOD GARRENS, INC. - Attorney Dale Kisling represented
the Estate of Hillard and Bonita Joyce Jones, deceased and requested approval of beer
and liquor licenses for'the Redwood Gardens, Inc., license to be issued to the
Estate of Hillard Jones, deceased. Mr. Kisling submitted application for beer
license signed by Dale Kisling, Attorney and Lloyd D. Browning, Trust officer of
Estate at Idaho Bank & Trust Co. Mayor and all councilmen present approved issuing
these licenses.
ORDINANCE # ll7 - ANNEY~TION AND DETACHMENT - As stated in minutes of December 12
meeting, Ordinance # lO3 excluding certain land from the boundaries of the City
of Chubbuck contained a mistake in the legal descriptionwhich resulted in the
exclusion of certain land which was not intended to be excluded. This ordinance
corrects the mistake by the described annexation and detachment inOrdinance #117.
Ordinance #117 read in full one time by Mayor Cotant and by title two additional
times. Councilman Taylor made motion to dispense with rule of reading ordinance
on three separate days. Kinghorn seconded. Roll call vote: Kinghorn, yes;
Menard, yes; Taylor, yes.
Motion to ado'Pt Ordinance #117 made by'CouncilmanMenard. Seconded by Taylor.

SEWER HOOK-UPS - Mayor and Council discussed making sewer taps on West Chubbuck Rd.
outside City limits. It was felt a main common line whould tap into project line
with individual hook-ups being made into this common line. The possibility of
a sewer district being formed outside city limits was also discussed.
Meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
