Present: Mayor Cotant, Councilmen Kinghorn, Menard, Romriell, Attorney Hargraves, Councd_~nan Taylor and clerk Armstrong. Meeting called to order by Mayor Cotant at 8:00 p.m. LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL - Mayor and Council approved renewal of all liquor licenses including wine and beer for the year 1973 with the exception of the Redwood Garden license which will need to be reviewed by Council and Police department. I~HO POWER REQUEST FOR SUB-STATION IN CHUBBUCK - on Franklin Briscoe's property on the corner of Whitaker and Siphon Road. Mayor suggested Attorney Hargraves or someone attend hearing to be held by Bannock County and express the desire to have the station next to railroad tracks in industrial zone or further east bordering Hiline Road. HANCOCK AND HAMMOND IETACHMENT FROM CITY - Attorney Hargraves stated the notice of appeal has been filed. Discussion followed on construction and use of ground. Mayor requested Attorney Hargraves to talk to Judge to question if he will consider an order to stop construction unt~ hearing can be held. DISANNEXATION ORDINANCE # 105 - Thedescription of area disannexed is in error and additional acreage has inadvertantly been dis-annexed. Attorney Har~raves suggested amending ordinance. Mayor and Council stated they would like him to prepare an ordinance to amend the description to keep this area in the city limits. ANNOUNCEMENTS - Mayor informed Council of a sewer pre-construction meeting to be held Thursday, November 30 at 5:00 p.m. in the city building. One Council meeting only to be held in December on the 12th. SEWER EASEMENTS - Mayor and Council discussed securing easements for main line from city limits to treatment plant. Because of difficulty of securing easements consider- ation has been given to going north of Chubbuck Road or along Chubbuck Road. PARK PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT - Richard Boyce from Miracle Equipment presented his catalog of equipment. Council agreed that Mayor and Jordon Stuart order equipment they feel best. CHRISTMAS STREET LIGHTS DECORATIONS - Mayor suggested buying some decorations for the city. Counc~ agreed for the ordering of same with an expenditure of approximately $3,000.00. GATE CITY REAL ESTATE - STUART 5rd ADDITION - Attorney Hargraves recommended waiving performance bond for developers and preparing an agreement v~ich will require them to put improvements in and that agreement be with purchasers of lots also.
