WHEREAS, the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City
of Chubbuck, Idaho, require that local government engage in a vigorous
program of highway improvement in urban areas; and
WHEREAS, the UrbauD program conducted cooperatively by the United
States Department of Transportation and the State of Idaho represents
a resource for funding such highway improvement within the ,,Pocatello
Metropolitan Area,,, defined for the purpose of the program to include
the City of Chubbuck;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THEMAYORAND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, that the City of Chubbuck hereby approves the proposed
plan for highway improvement for the "Pocatello Metropolitan Area,,,
as amended to include Chubbuck Road from the eastern boundaryto the
western boundary of the Chubbuck corporate area, as part of the project.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO,
this 26th day of March, 197&.
