ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
PROJECT TITLE: Chubbuck Elementary CPS Project - RE-
BID
Separate sealed BIDS for the reconstruction of sidewalks and
pedestrian ramps, installation of a pedestrian path, pave-
ment markings and signage located at Chubbuck, Idaho
and other related work as set forth in the Contract documents
for Chubbuck Elementary CPS Project REBID will be re-
ceived by City of Chubbuck at 5160 Yellowstone Ave, Chub -
buck, Idaho 83202, until 11:00 AM local time on Tuesday,
November 26, 2019 and then at said office publicly opened
and read aloud.
The work involves replacement and construction of approximate-
ly 25 pedestrian ramps and 275 lineal feet of sidewalk, and the
construction of approximately 900 lineal feet of pedestrian
paths in the City of Chubbuck. The work includes removal of
existing concrete and asphalt, new curb and gutter, sidewalks,
pedestrian ramps, asphalt pavement, pavement striping, signs,
and other related items. It is the intent of the project bidding
documents to describe the work required to complete this
project in sufficient detail to secure comparable bids. All parts
or work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in or-
der to provide a complete installation shall be included in the
bid and shall conform to all Local, State and Federal require-
ments.
The PROJECT MANUAL, DRAWINGS, ADDENDUMS and EX-
HIBITS may be examined at the following location(s): City of
Chubbuck, Public Works Department, 5160 Yellowstone Ave,
Chubbuck, Idaho
The PROJECT MANUAL, DRAWINGS, ADDENDUMS and EX-
HIBITS may be obtained at City of Chubbuck, Public Works
Department, 5160 Yellowstone Ave, Chubbuck, Idaho 83202
as an electronic copy via email or on a compact disc (CD) for
no fee.
In determining the lowest responsive bid, the Owner will consider
all acceptable bids on a basis consistent with the bid package,
The Owner will also consider whether the bidder is a responsi-
ble bidder. Before a contract _will be awarded for work contem-
plated herein, the Owner will conduct such investigation as is
necessary to determine the performance record and ability of
the apparent low bidder to perform the size and type of work
specified under this Contract. Upon request, the Bidder shall
submit such information as deemed necessary by the Owner to
evaluate the Bidders qualifications.
All bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authori-
ty to sign.
Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid
bond, certified check, cashier's check or. cash in the amount of
five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid
security shall be forfeited to the City of Chubbuck as liquidated
damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract
in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instruc-
tions to Bidders.
The City of Chubbuck reserves the right to reject any or all pro-
posals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids re-
ceived, and to accept the proposal deemed most advanta-
geous to the best interest of City of Chubbuck

published at Pocatello, Bannock County Idaho and
having a general circulation therein.

uninterruptedly published in said County for a
period of seventy-eight weeks prior to the
publication of said notice of advertisement and is a
newspaper within the meaning of the laws of
Idaho.
