WHEREFORE,, the City of Chubbuck Idaho has undertaken construction of
improvements to the municipal water system consisting in part of a 1.5 MG
(million gallon)storage facility, site preparation therefor, additional
water transmission lines and other improvements; and
WHEREFORE, these improvements comprise a project to be funded by the
sale of a water ~system revenue bond approved by the voters of the City of
Chubbuck on the 4th day of November, 1975; and
WHEREFORE~ weather consideration have compelled the city to commence
with the site preparation phas~ of the project prior to the sale of the
authorized revenue bond; and-
WHEREFORE~ a claim for the work related to the site preparation has
been submitted to the City by Empire Construction Company in the amount
of $16,520.61, such claim having been approved by the City Council, but
funds for payment thereof not yet having been deposited in the Water Revenue
Bond Account; and
WHEREFORE, the city treasurer has reported that sufficient funds
exist in the Waterworks Account, from which a transfer may be made to the
Water Revenue BOnd Account for the purpose of paying this claim,
as authorized by Idaho Code Section 50-1014; and
WHEREFORE, upon the sale of revenue bond, funds will be available
to reimburse the Waterworks Account for the transfer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, that the sum of $16,620.61 (consisting of
$16,520.61 for the claim mentioned above and $100.00 to maintain a
balance in the Water Revenue Bond Account) shall be transferred by the
city treasurer forthwith from the Waterworks Account to the Water Revenue
Bond Account.
