Whereas, the City of Chubbuck Idaho has undertaken construction of
improvements to the municipal water sustem consisting in part of a 1.5MG
(million gallon) storage facility, site preparation therefor, additional
water transmission lines and other improvements; and
Whereas, these improvements comprise a project to be funded by the
sale of a water system revenue bond approved by the voters of the City of
Chubbuck on the 4th day of November, 1975; and
Whereas, weather consideration have compelled the city to commence
with the storage facility construction phase of the project prior to the
sale of the authorized revenue bond; and
Whereas, a claim for the work related to the storage facility
construction has been submitted to the City by F. W. Kahley & Son Construction
in the amount of $26,710.20, but funds for payment thereof not yet having
been deposited in the Water Revenue Bond Account; and
Whereas, the City treasurer has reported that sufficient funds exist
in the General Fund Account, from which a transfer may be made to the
Water .Revenue Bond Account for the purpose to paying this claim, as
authorized by Idaho Code Section 50-1014; and
Whereas, upon the sale of revenue bond, funds will be available
to reimburse the General Fund Account for the transfer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, that the sum of $26,710.20 shall be transferred
by the city treasurer forthwith from the General Fund Account to the
Water Revenue Bond Account, for payment of the foregoing claim when
approved.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR of the City of
Chubbuck, Idaho this 26 day of August, ~976~ ~
