CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
WHEREAS, the Idaho Local Planning Act of 1975 (Idaho Code section.
67-6501 et. seq.) requires that municipalities of this state engage in
planning and adopt, by ordinance or resolution, comprehensive plans;
and
WHEREAS, in compliance with the Act, the City of Chubbuck com-
menced a thorough planning process in 1977, culminating in a series
of hearings before the Chubbuck Planning & Zoning Commission and the
Chubbuck City Council; and
WHEREAS, the final draft of the comprehensive plan (a copy of
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein) represents the best
efforts of Chubbuck officials and inhabitants to enhance the quality
of their co~mni~ through a cooperative planning process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, that the attached comprehensive plan is approved
and adopted, subject only to such future changes as may be authorized
by the Local Planning Act.
PASSED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho,
this 6th day'of June , 1978.
