CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
WHEREAS, the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, has been a
participating member in the Southeast Idaho Council of
Governments (SICOG), and has made annual payments to share
in defraying the expenses of this organization; and
WHEREAS, a statement submitted by SICOG for Fiscal Year
1978-79 has provided an o~porunity to review the costs
incurred and benefits derzved by the City of Chubbuck from
participation in the organization; and
WHEREAS, it is the conclusion of the Chubbuck City
Council that the costs exceed the value of known benefits;
and
WHEREAS, the Chubbuck City Council has further con-
cluded that continued participation in SICOG would not
represent a necessary or efficient expenditure of public
funds;
N~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, that the City of Chubbuck
declares its intention to cease participation in the South-
east Idaho Council of C~vernment~; and that, accordingly, no
payment be made to the organization for Fiscal Year 1978-79.
