RESOLUTION N0. 2 - 7 9
WHEREAS, the public health, safety and welfare require that the City of
Ch:!hhuck provide efficient police protection; and
WHEREAS, the efficiency of the City police department depends upon ~
pliance, by n~m~bers of that Department, with sound policies and procedures; aD~
WHEREAS, the Idaho Law Enforcement Planning Commission has recommended to
cities of this state a cc~pr~ive manual of police policies aP~ procedures;
WHEREAS, the Mayor, Council, Chief of Police and members of the Department
have reviewed the proposed manual and made additions or revisions appropriate
to circt~stanoes of police service in the City of Chubbuck;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ~ESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

1. That said proposed manual, as revised locally, is hereby adopted as the
"Chubbuck Police Department Policy and Procedures Manual" and shall become
effective inmediately.
2. That written certificates of cc~pliance with the manual sb~ll be signed
by Department n~mt~ars and included in their personnel files.
3. Tb~t compliance with "the manual, as now in effect and as it may hereafter
be amended, shall be a necessary condition of employment by the City of Chuhbu~ ck.
4. That the Board of Appeals specified in the manual shall consist of the
following persons, who shall serve twelve (12) month terms from the date of this
resolution, but who shall hold over at the end of each term until successors are
named by the Mayor and Oouncil:
1. Dwain A. Kinghorn
2. Boyd White
3. Paul Winters
