HomeMy WebLinkAbout10 Friends, This has been one of the fastest summers that I have ever experienced. I was able to get a whole lot done but wow it moved on through. I think that we are going to have a beautiful autumn, school starts, the harvest comes in, the leaves turn and life is good. Our Public Works Department chooses an employee of the year each year and this year they have chosen Cameron Lusk, our main Water Systems Technician, with the Water Department. We appreciate the wonderful work that Cameron does in seeing to it that we all get clean, usable and abundant water. Every time you turn on a faucet in your home you should think of him and the whole department. They do a great job. Congratulations Cameron. This coming year there will be a national census taken. Please watch for your opportunity to participate with the census. It is vital that we get everyone in our city counted. Many things are decided by the census, not the least of which is Congressional Representation. Stand up and be counted. If you have any questions don ’t hesitate to call the office. Lastly, there is an election on November 5. Chubbuck will be voting on two City Council positions. Seats 1 and 3 are up for election. We have Darell Stewart running against Daniel Heiner and Melanie Evans is unopposed. Let’s get out and vote. Thank you to each one of you for all that you do to make this the best place on earth to live.
