WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 148 of the City of Chubbuck,
Idaho, enacted on the 24th da-Tof February, 1976, adopting
the Uniform Building Code, provides that future editions
of said Code Shall be adopted by resolution duly passed
and filed with said ordinace; and
WHEREAS, the International Conference of Building
Officials has promulgated, and the City of Chubbuck has
received, a new 1979 edition of the above-referenced
Code; and
WHEREAS, the purposes of Ordinance No. 148 may best
be served, and the health, safety and welfare of the
inhabitants of the City of Chubbuck may best be protected,
by adopting of the new edition of the Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND
CONCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, that pursuant to
Ordinance No. 148 of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, the
1979 edition o~--'~-he Uniform Building Code, promulgated
by the International Conference of Building Officials,
is hereby adopted; and the Chubbuck City Clerk is
directed to maintain three (3) copies of said Code on
file in the Clerk"s Office for use and examination by
the public.
