RESOLUTION NO. /-~
WHEREAS, six months have elapsed since adoption of the city's compre-
hensive plan, and the plan may be subject to revision in compliance with
the Idaho Local Planning Act of 1975; and
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Land Use and Development Commission
of the City of Chubbuck are reviewing the plan and its implementing ordi-
nances with respect to provisions for mobile homes and other types of
production dwellings; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that applications for conditional
use permits for mobile home or production dwelling courts may be received
in the near future; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and hereby states that a possible
proliferation of such courts within the city or the area of city impact,
prior to completion of proper review of comprehensive plan and implementing
ordinance provisions relating to such courts, constitutes an imminent peril
to the public health, safety, or welfare of the city; and
WHEREAS, an interim moratorium of moderate duration is required to meet
the peril and to provide time for proper planning and review;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, that a moratorium of ~ months, from the date of
this resolution, is hereby imposed upon issuance of any conditional use
permits for mobile home or production dwelling units or courts, and
hearings upon any such applications shall be suspended during the moratorium.
PASSED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, this
