HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-006 RR Tracks/E Chubbuck Rd Improvements WHEREAS, the City of Chubbuck, in cooperation with the State of
Idaho, has undertaken a project for improving the grade crossing
surface at the intersection of the Union Pacific Railroad (Oregon
Short Line) tracks and East Chubbuck Road; and
WI~EREAS, in order to obtain State funding for this project, the
City has been requested to execute a contract with the railroads and
the State identified as L. D. 24313; and
V~J{F2~, the Chubbuck City Engineer has reviewed the contract and
has advised the Mayor and Council that it sets forth obligations of
the City which were within the City's contemplation when undertaking
the project; and
WHEREAS, the Chubbuck City Attorney has found the oontract to be
in proper form;
NOW, THEREFORE, ~E IT I~SOLVED BY THE CITY GOUNCIL CF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, that the Mayor is here~t authorized to execute on
behalf of the City that o~ntract identified as L. D. 24313, and the
Mayor and City Engineer are directed to obtain payment of the State's
share of the project {Dst.
