RESOLUTION NO. 1-81
WHEREAS, on January 8, 1980, the Mayor and Council of the
City of Chubbuck adopted Resolution No. 1-80, imposing a four-
month moratorium upon issuance of any conditional use permits
for mobile home or production dwelling units or courts, and
upon hearings relating to such permits, in order to enable
the city to engage in proper planning and review of the city's
comprehensive plan and ordinances pertaining to mobile and
production units and courts; and
WHEREAS, the city has undertaken studies and has conducted
numerous public hearings on the subject matter; and
WHEREAS, at direction of the council the city attorney
has prepared and the council is reviewing one or more amenda-
tory proposals which will affect the zoning and developmental
standards for mobile and production units and courts within the
city and in the area of city impact; and
WHEREAS, the Idaho Legislative in its present session is
considering possible statutory changes that would effect local
land use decisions and zoning powers relating to mobile and
production units and courts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, that the moratorium imposed by
Resolution No. 1-80 is hereby extended for a period ending
sixty days following adjournment of the present session of the
legislative.
