RESOLUTION NO. 2-81
WHEREAS, it would be in the public interest and in the
best interests of the City of Chubbuck that a traffic signal
be installed on Yellowstone Avenue at station 152+73 and that
the underlying conduit for a traffic signal at station 158+51
be installed to regulate the traffic and access to the Pine
Ridge Mall and to afford increased convenience and safety for
public travel through such areas; and
WHEREAS, a certain Cooperative Agreement has been negotia-
ted between the State of Idaho, acting by and through the Idaho
Transportation Department, Division of Highways; Pine Ridge
Development Company; and the City of Chubbuck to provide for
the installation, operation and maintenance of said traffic
control signal; and
WHEREAS, it is determined that the execution of said
Cooperative Agreement by the City of Chubbuck will be in the
best interests of the citizens of the City of Chubbuck.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Mayor of
the City of Chubbuck is authorized to enter into said Coopera-
tive Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit
A and incorporated herein by reference as though set forth
in full.
PASSED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL of the City of Chubbuck,
Idaho, this 24 day of March, 1981.
