WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 130 of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho,
enacted on the 13th day of November, 1973, adopting the Uniform
Fire Code, provides that future editions of said Code shall be
adopted by resolution duly passed and filed with said ordinance;
and
WHEREAS, the International Conference of Building Officials and
Western Fire Chiefs Association has promulgated, and the CitY of
Chubbuck has received, a new 1982 edition of the above-referenced
Code; and
WHEREAS, the purposes of Ordinance No.130 may best be served,
and the health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the City
of Chubbuck may best be protected, by adopting of the new edition
of the Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, that pursuant to Ordinance No. 130
of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, the 1982 edition of the Uniform
Fire Code, promulgated by the International Conference of Building
Officials and Western Fire Chiefs Association is hereby adopted;
and the Chubbuck Ci.tv Clerk is.d~rectedto maintain three copies
of said Code on file in the Clerk's Office for use and examination
by the public.
