WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 167 of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho,
enacted on the llth day of May, 1976, adopting the
Life Safety Code, provides that future editions of said Code
shall be adopted by resolution duly passed and filed with said
ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the National Fire Protection Association has
promulgated, and the City of Chubbuck has received, a new

1981 edition of the above-referenced Code; and
WHEREAS, the purposes of Ordinance No. 167 may best be
served, and the health, safety and welfare of t~e inhabitants of
the City of Chubbuck may best be protected, by adopting of the
new edition of the Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, that pursuant to Ordinance No. 167
of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, the 1981 edition of the Life
Safety Code, promulgated by the National Fire Protection
Association, is hereby adopted; and the Chubbuck City Clerk is
directed to maintain three (3) copies of said Code on file in the
Clerk's Office for use and examination by the public.
