RESOLUTION NO. ]-83
WHEREAS, the City Council and Mayor of the City of Chubbuck
have determined that it would be in the best insterest of the City
to expand and improve the City's park system through the improvement
of certain real property more particularly described on Exhibit A
hereto; and
WHEREAS, said property is currently owned by School District No.
25, but has been maintained, in part, by the City as a City Park; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that said property could best
be developed through the Federal Land and Water Conservation Fund Program.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
City of Chubbuck, Idaho, that:
The Mayor of the City of Chubbuck is authorized and directed
to make application for matching funds from the Federal Land and
Water Conservation Fund Program for the development of recreational
facilities on the the real property described in Exhibit A hereto.
The Mayor of the City of Chubbuck is further authorized to
execute such documents as may be necessary to apply for such matching
funds; including, but not limited to, a joint service contract or
lease with School District No. 25 for the use of the real property
described in Exhibit A..
