RESOLUTION NO. #1-87
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, AMENDING
THE MONTHLY SERVICE CHARGE TO BE IMPOSED BY THE CITY FOR
SEWAGE DISPOSAL THROUGH THE MUNICIPAL SEWER SYSTEM AND
WATER FURNISHED THROUGH THE MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, Sections 13.04.010 and 13.04.020 of Chubbuck
Municipal Code provides that the rates for water furnished through
the municipal water system and for sewage disposal through the
municipal sewer system shall be set by resolution;
WHEREAS, prior resolutions have been adopted by the City
Council to establish rates for sewage disposal;
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend said resolutions
as they relate to the monthly service charge for sewage disposal
through the municipal sewer system; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to adopt a resolution
modifying the rate for water furnished through the municipal water
system as previously established by ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Chubbuck that the monthly charges for sewer service shall
be as follows:

Residential Single Family
Dwellings
Multiple Residential Dwelling
Structure
Multiple Residential Dwelling
Structure Without Cooking Units
Non-residential structures
and uses

$10.00
$8.25 per unit
$4.50 per unit
$10.00 plus $0.56 per 1,000
gallons in excess of 9,000
gallons per month of water used
or the actual cost attributable
to the treatment of the
wastewater generated by such
use as determined by the
approving authority as defined
in Ordinance No. 251 if the
latter amount is greater.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the charge for water furnished
through the municipal water system for usage in excess of the
minimum monthly charges prescribed by Ordinance No. 236 shall be
forty-two cents ($0.42) per thousand gallons or fraction thereof;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as modified hereinabove,
the water and sewer rates heretofore prescribed by ordinance or
resolution shall continue in full force and effect.
