RESOLUTION NO. 2-88
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, AMENDING THE
MONTHLY SERVICE CHARGE TO BE IMPOSED BY THE CITY FOR WATER
FURNISHED THROUGH THE MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM, SEWAGE
DISPOSAL THROUGH THE MUNICIPAL SEWER SYSTEM, AND GARBAGE
COLLECTION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SANITARY SERVICES.
WHEREAS, Sections 13.04.010 and 13.04.020 of Chubbuck
Municipal Code provides that the rates for water furnished
through the municipal water system, and for sewage disposal
through the municipal sewer system, and for garbage collection
provided through the sanitary services shall be set by
resolution; and
WHEREAS, prior resolutions have been adopted by the City
Council to establish rates for water furnished through the
municipal water system, and for sewage disposal through the
municipal sewer system, and for garbage collection provided
through the sanitary services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to adopt a resolution
modifying the rate for water furnished through the municipal
water system, and for sewage disposal through the municipal sewer
system, and for garbage collection provided through the sanitary
services as previously established by ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Chubbuck that the monthly charges for these services
shall be as follows:
WATER SERVICE RATES
The charge for water furnished through the municipal water
system for usage in excess of the minimum monthly uses perscribed
by Ordinance No. 236 shall be sixty cents ($0.60) per thousand
gallons or fraction thereof; and

1,000 gallons in excess of 9,000 gallons per month of
water used or the actual cost attributable to the
treatment of the wastewater generated by such use as
determined by the approving authority as defined in
Ordinance No. 251 if the latter amount is greater.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as modified
hereinabove, the water, sewer, and sanitation rates heretofore
prescibed by ordinance or resolution shall continue in full force
and effect.
