A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, A
MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF IDAHO, ADOPTING THE 1988 UNIFORM
BUILDING CODE, UNIFORM FIRE CODE, UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE AND
UNIFORM SIGN CODE,
WHEREAS, the City of Chubbuck has, in Title 15 of the
Chubbuck Code, periodically adopted the updated versions of the
Uniform Building Code, Uniform Fire Code, Uniform Mechanical Code
and Uniform Sign Code; and,
WHEREAS, these codes serve to provide for consistency in the
building and construction industry; and,
WHEREAS, the building officials of the City of Chubbuck have
recommended to the Mayor and City Council that the 1988 versions
of these codes be adopted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY this City Council of the
City of Chubbuck that, effective January 1, 1989, the Uniform
Building Code, 1988 Edition be adopted pursuant to Chubbuck Code
15.04.020, as the Building Code of the City of Chubbuck, the
Uniform Fire Code, 1988 Edition, be adopted pursuant to Chapter
15.08 of the Chubbuck Code, as the Uniform Fire Code of the City
of Chubbuck, the Uniform Sign Code, 1988 Edition be adopted
pursuant to Chubbuck Code 15.24.010 as the Sign Code of the City
of Chubbuck and the Uniform Mechanical Code, 1988 Edition, be
adopted pursuant to Section 15.28.020 of the Chubbuck Code as the
Uniform Mechanical Code of the City of Chubbuck.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that three copies of each code
together with a copy of this Resolution certified by the City
Clerk, shall be maintained on file in the City Clerk's office for
use and examination by the public.
PAST AND APPROVED by the Mayor and the Council of the City
of Chubbuck, Idaho on the 25th day of October, 1988.
