RESOLUTION NO. 4-2004
A Resolution of the Mayor and Council of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho adopting revised
fees pursuant to Chapter 9.20 (Animal Control) of the Chubbuck Municipal Code.
Whereas, Chapter 9.20 of the Chubbuck Municipal Code, as amended, authorizes the
Council to adopt animal control fees by resolution;
Whereas, the Chubbuck Police Department has proposed revised fees to reflect increased
costs;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Mayor and Council of the City of Chubbuck,
that the animal control fees set forth on the attached Exhibit "A" shall be adopted, effective
October 1st, 2004.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 24TM DAY OF AUGUST, 2004.

EXHIBIT "A"
Violation fee's for animals impounded at Chubbuck Shelter
1st impound 2"" impound in 12 months
Running at large $30.00 Running at large $60.00
Impound fee $25.00 Impound fee $50.00
Daily boarding fee $ 5.00 Daily boarding fee $10.00
Fee's double each time an animal is impounded during a calendar year. All animals must be current on
animal licenses before leaving the shelter if you are a Chubbuck resident. Ail fees are the same for any
species of animal.
Adoption Fee's:
Ail Dogs ...... $30.00
Ail Cat's ...... $i i0. O0
Owner release fee's of animals:
One animal $20.00
Litter of puppies or kittens (under 8 weeks of age) $40.00
All animals over the age of 8 weeks are considered adult animals and will be charged at the $20.00 per
animal price.
Spay and Neuter Certificates (Adopted Shelter An~.mals Only[!!):
Female Dogs ......$45.00 Male Dogs ......$35.00
Female Cats ......$35.00 Male Cats ......$20.00
These Certificates are valid at Hawthorne Animal Hospital for up to 60 days from the date of adoption.
No one under the age of 18 may adopt or claim an impounded animal unless they are accompanied by
a parent or legal guardian.
9.20.021 Annual License Fee:
The annual license fee for animals each calendar year, 01/01 through 12/31, or part of shall be as
follows:

Un-spayed or neutered $10.00 Un-spayed or neutered $2.00
Kennel License fee $20.00 (for each dog after the 2na, includes animal license)
Dog's:08/01 through 12/31
Spayed or neutered $3.00
Un-spayed or neutered $5.00
Kennel License fee $10.00 (for each dog after the 2nd, includes animal license)
*NOTE: People owning more than 2 dogs are required to purchase a Kennel license, which includes a
animal license, for each dog thereafter. People owning more than 3 dog's are required to have 4000
square feet per dog, otherwise they can only own 3 dogs.
