NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Mayor and the City Council of the City of
Chubbuck, Idaho, as follows:
The City Council believes a dog park is an amenity that needs to be considered in
developing parks within the City; however, the City does not have sufficient funds at this time to
provide the amenities that would need to be furnished for a park, including a fence and means of
providing a tap for water although the budget is still undergoing consideration. The City is
willing to consider providing land if Bannock Bark Parks can provide some portion of the
funding necessary to install the amenities to make a dog park workable for the citizens and their
animals and for those citizens that do not have animals.
Bannock Bark Parks is encouraged to pursue sources of funding for the establishment of
such a park and to report its efforts on a periodic basis to the Chubbuck City Council and
representatives of the City, including the Park Superintendent.
