ORDINANCE NO. 195
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO ANNEXING
CERTAIN LANDS KNO~ AS THE "NORTHSIDE PLAZA" TO BE
INCLUDED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES AND JURISDICTIONAL
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO; SPECIFYING THE
ZONING CLASSIFICATION WHICH SHALL BE APPLIED TO SAID
LANDS; DIRECTING THE CHUBBUCK CITY CLERK TO CO~LY WITH
THE FILING REQUIREMENTS CONTAINED IN IDAHO CODE SECTION
63-2215; AND PROVIDING ~{EN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME
EFFECTIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK, IDAHO:
SECTION 1: Annexation. The following described
lands, located within Bannock County and contiguous to the
existing boundaries of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, are
hereby annexed and included within the boundaries and juris-
dictional limits of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho:
A parcel of land situated in the East 1/2 of
Section 34, Township 5 South, Range 34 East, Boise
Meridian, Bannock County, Idaho, more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the South quarter corner of said
section 34, said south quarter corner being a 1/2
inch iron pin; thence South 89° 51' 08" East,
along the South line of said Section 34, 29.15
feet, said point being on the Easterly right-of-
way of Yellowstone Highway; thence North 0° 01'
13" West, along said Easterly right-of-way 24.81
feet to the Northerly line of Siphon Road, the
same being the True Point of Beginning and marked
by a 1/2 inch iron pin tagged L. S. 968; thence
continuing along the Easterly right-of-way of
Yellowstone Highway North 0° 01' 13" West, 1726.61
feet to a 1/2 inch iron pin tagged L. S. 968;
thence South 89° 31' 57" East, 1496.46 feet to the
Westerly right-of-way line of the Union Pacific
Railroad; thence South 1° 26' 18" East, along said
Westerly right-of-way line, 1727.49 feet to the
Northerly right-of-way line of Siphon Road; thence
North 89°'31' 57" West, along said Northerly

Westerly right-of-way line of the Union Pacific
Railroad; thence South 1° 26' 18" East, along said
Westerly right-of-way line, 1727.49 feet to the
Northerly right-of-way line of Siphon Road; thence
North 89°31' 57" West, along said Northerly
right-of-way, 1539.21 feet to the Point of Beginning.
SECTION 2:
Zo.n_~_n~. The above-described lands
newly annexed to the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, shall be
subject to the zoning classification of light indUstrial (Il-l).
SECTION 3. Filing. The Chubbuck City Clerk is
hereby directed to comply with the filing requirements
contained in Idaho Code section 63-2215.
SECTION 4. Effective Date. The requirement that
ordinances be read on three separate occasions is hereby
dispensed with and this ordinance shall become effective
upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by
law.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR of the
City of Chubbuck, Idaho, this 13 th day of March ,
1979.
