AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF CHUBBUCK, BANNOCK COUNTY, IDAHO, MAKING IT
UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON TO CARRY CONCEALED WEAPONS UPON HIS PERSON; PRO-
VIDING A PENJAL.TY FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE: REPEALING ALL ORD-
INANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN SO FAR AS THEY ARE IN CONFLICT WITH THIS
ORDINANCE AND PROVIDING A TIME FOR THE TAKING EFFECT OF THIS. ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CHAIRMAN AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE
OF CHUBBUCK, BANNOCK COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to carry concealed
weapons upon his person, or to carry concealed upon his person any sling
shot, brass knuckles, revolver, dagger, stiletto or other deadly weapon,
either in nighttime or daytime within the Village Limits of the Village
of Chubbuck, Bannock County, Idaho.
Section 2. Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this
Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof,
shall be punished by a fine of not to exceed $100.00, plus costs, for any
one offense, and in default of the payment of such fine and costs, be confined
to jail provided by the Village at the rate of one day 16r each $2.00 of the
fine so imposed.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in so far as they are
in conflict with this Ordinance be, and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and due publication as provided
by law.
