RESOLUTION No. 2019-04
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, PROVIDING A DEFINITION OF UTILITY ACCOUNT
RECORDS AND UTILITY LETTERS OF AGREEMENT RECORDS.
WHEREAS, the City Clerk is the general custodian of the City Records, seal, and proceedings of
the City and;
WHEREAS, Idaho Code requires the Council to adopt by Resolution Records retention policies;
and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to designate electronic record retention for utility account records
and utility letters of agreement records and;
WHEREAS, as these records are closed at a zero balance and have had no account activity for 5
years;
NOW, THEREFORE, utility account records that have a zero balance and that have had no
account activity for five (5) years meet the retention schedule and will automatically be deleted from
the system with the closing of the month at the end of five (5) years.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, THIS 1st DAY OF
MAY, 2019.
