COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
July 25th, 2000
Minutes of a Special Meeting held at the Chubbuck City Council Chambers, July 25th, 2000.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Council members Leroy S. Quick, Marvin C. Gunter, B. Kent
Kearns, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Public Works Director Steven M. Smart and City
Clerk Ron C. Conlin. Councilman Steven M. England was excused.
Meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
PURPOSE OF SPECIAL MEETING is to discuss 2000-2001 Fiscal Year Budget.
2000-2001 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET DISCUSSION - City Clerk Ron Conlin explained, with
the proposed budgets presented from General Fund Departments, compared to additional
revenue for this year, we are $277,769. short.
City Clerk Conlin stated there is approx $177,000. in additional revenue in the General
Fund.
Mayor Cotant suggested the $177,000. be split equally between Parks, Police and Fire
Departments.
Discussion about possible sale of property on Hiway Ave.
City Clerk Conlin stated the Tentative Budget should be passed at the August 8th, 2000
Council Meeting, with the Public Hearing scheduled, August 22nd, 2000.
Departments were directed to review their budgets, the 2000-2001 Fiscal Year Tentative
Budget will be on the August 8, 2000 Council Meeting Agenda.
At 7:20 p.m., Councilman Quick moved, Councilman Gunter seconded, with full council
approval to adjourn meeting.

CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50-604, the undersigned Mayor of the City of Chubbuck,
Idaho, hereby calls a special meeting of the City Council to be held at the Chubbuck Municipal
Building, at the hour of 6:00 p.m, on Tuesday, the 25th. day of July, 2000. The purpose of the
Special Meeting is to discuss 1) 2000-2001 Fiscal Year Budget.
