CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 225 OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK BY AMENDING
SECTION 1 TO PROVIDE A CORRECT LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE
LANDS TO BE ANNEXED; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE
SHALL BE EFFECTIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE }~YOR ~ND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK,
IDAHO:
SECTION 1: Amendment. Ordinance No. 225 of the City of
Chubbuck, Idaho, enacted on the 10th day of February, 1981,
is hereby amended by the amendment of Section 1 as follows:
SECTION 1: Annexation. The following described
lands, located within Bannock County and contiguous
to the existing boundaries of the City of
Chubbuck, Idaho, are hereby annexed and included
within the boundaries and jurisdictional limits
of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho:
WEST CHUBBUCK SEGMENT:
A strip of land 25 feet North and
South of the following described
centerline: Beginning at the South
1/4 corner, Section 4, Township 6
South, Range 34 East, Boise Meridian,
Thence Westerly 512.79 feet, more or
less to the extended West boundary
of Alturas Park Subdivision, Thence,
a strip of land~ 33 feet North and
25 feet South of said centerline
continuing Westerly 803.16 feet, more
or less to the extended West boundary
of Heritage West Number 1 Subdivision.
YELLOWSTONE AVENUE/SIPHON ROAD INTERSECTION
SEGmeNT:
A parcel of land situated in the East
1/2 of Section 34, Township 5 South,
Range 34 East, Boise Meridian, Bannock
County, Idaho, more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the South quarter corner
of said Section 34, said South quarter
corner being a 1/2 inch iron pin;
Thence North 0°09'15" West, along the
meridional centerline of Section 34,
39.93 feet more or less to the extended
Northerly right-of-way line of
Siphon Road;
SECTION 2:
effective upon its passage, approval and publication as
provided by law.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR of the
City of Chubbuck, Idaho, this /9 day of ~~ ,
Thence South 89°51'08" East, along
the extended northerly right-of-way
line of Siphon Road, 29.23 feet, more
or less, to the extended Easterly
right-of-way line of Yellowstone Ave.;
Thence South 0°01'13'' East, along the
extended easterly right-of-way line of
Yellowstone Avenue
, 39.93 feet, more
or less, to the South line of said
Section 34.
Thence North 89°51'08'' West along the
South line of said Section 34,29.15 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning.
Effective Date. This Ordinance shall become
1982.
